The weather is starting to give us just a little taste of spring here. The days are sunny, but cool and the cold, gray sky is getting bluer every day. We know we're not out of the woods yet; for cold weather or even snow, but we are hopeful!
Don is very excited to get this year's garden under way. He has already ordered three seed catalogs, bought some 'giant pumpkin' seeds, and over the past few days, built a hotbed to start seeds in. The hotbed was a project for him and Jack, but yesterday when he put on the finishing touches, Mae got involved. They all had their shovels, and when I went to find them for supper, you can see why I had to take some pictures.
